
Hannah Jefferson
Hannah is Mum to baby Bobby (Step mum to Aleeya & Evie) and fiancé to Rhys and they are expecting another child together very soon. Hannah is 27 weeks pregnant and has been training at PDH since returning to the gym after Bobby was born in August 2023. Hannah still looks so fit, strong, and healthy due to her commitment to modified movement throughout her pregnancy.
LETS HEAR ABOUT HANNAH'S JOURNEY AT PDH.
• What are your current goals with training during your pregnancy?
My goals with training during pregnancy are to maintain my physical health and fitness levels while adapting my workouts to accommodate my changing body. I also aim to maintain my mental well-being and to stay active, which has been crucial for both my energy levels and mood. Additionally, I want to set a good example for my children by prioritizing a healthy lifestyle.
• How does PDH accommodate for and support you towards these goals?
PDH has been incredibly supportive by offering adaptations that are safe and effective for my pregnancy. Karina and the coaches are knowledgeable about pregnancy-specific modifications and ensure that I’m always performing exercises that suit my current fitness level. They’re also understanding and flexible with my needs, making it easier for me to maintain my routine without any added pressure.
• What does PDH provide that sets them apart from other gyms?
What sets PDH apart is their commitment to personalized care and attention. Unlike other gyms, they take the time to understand each individual’s unique circumstances, whether it's pregnancy, an injury, or other personal goals. The trainers are genuinely invested in my success and well-being, providing not only expert guidance but also emotional support, creating a welcoming and motivating environment.
• What would you say to encourage other people in your position to remain active during this stage of their life?
I would say that staying active during pregnancy has countless benefits for both your mental and physical health. It can help with managing stress, improve sleep quality, and even prepare your body for labor and recovery. Finding a gym like PDH that truly supports and understands your needs makes staying active during pregnancy so much easier. It’s not just about fitness; it’s about taking care of yourself and setting a positive example for your family.

Hannah is another great example of how PDH can support their members during any stage of their life. Hannah is a wonderful role model for her family, not only for her children but also for her partner Rhys who was motivated to come join PDH shortly after Hannah, and they have both made so much progress together through consistency and a little healthy competition. During her pregnancy to date Hannah has been diligent with modified movements for both safety and comfort, and we hope this continues for as long as she is able to before labour.
