PDH is a Strength & Conditioning gym that utilises a broad and proven range of methodology to increase its members physical capacity and overall health and wellbeing.

 

PDH Functional Strength & conditioning classes involve elements of Powerlifting, Olympic Lifting, Strongman, gymnastics, cardio, and other basic forms of weightlifting including the use of Dumbbells, kettlebells, medicine and deadballs.

Classes are designed in a way which physically and mentally challenge the individual to obtain results, whilst having fun in a socially inclusive environment.

Classes are suitable for Teens through to Seniors and modifications can be made for physical and mental limitations and individual health requirements.

Classes are suitable for athletes through to beginners with no gym experience. We have a dedicated coaching staff to support you regardless of your existing fitness or skill level.

​About Stevie...

I am a humble person outside of work & the gym. I enjoy crocheting & being outside in the garden, camping & any type of adventure. I currently work as a Manager at Dan Murphy's but when I joined PDH I was an Administrator for an underground mining workshop.

  • Describe your fitness and nutrition lifestyle for the years leading up to joining PDH?

    My lifestyles was more leaning towards the unhealthy side prior to joining PDH. There was not much thought about what I was eating & drinking. The occasional gym workout ticked a box for me. 

  • What brought you to PDH?

    It was actually one of the coaches Drew Jose, who worked with James and kept telling him about PDH and to come join, & I joined along with him because why not, we both knew we needed to do something instead of just sitting on the lounge of an afternoon & both get back into a proper fitness routine to get ourselves healthy & strong. 

  • What were your goals when you first joined PDH and what are your goals now.

    When I joined my goal was to just turn up & have a go & move. I had no idea what any of the movements were and I was worried I wouldn't know what to do or that people would judge me.

    Very quickly I learnt that PDH was a safe place for any skill level, and that everyone was there to help you, coaches and other members. 

    Now my goal for 2024 is to do some form of a CrossFit competition and to continue to build on my strength and fitness, as well as continuing with the meal planning and nutrition guidance from Karina.

  • Describe your fitness and nutrition lifestyle NOW?

    Now, my life is total different & its all for the better. I am more aware of what I am eating & drinking but still giving myself little treats every now & then! I am more active in my personal life & can enjoy so much more in life, because I am fitter, no more hard breathing walking up stairs! I actively want to do things on the weekend & want to go for more walks etc 

  • What results/goals have your achieved  since joining the PDH community?

    I have dropped a lot of body fat! 34% down to 21%. I have also been able to deadlift 112.5kg which I never thought I would be able to do as a small girl only weighing 60kgs.

    My mindset has changed completely around what it means to be fit and strong and that lifting weights isn't just for the boys 

  • What would you say to someone who isn't sure how to take the first step with improving their health and fitness?

    Don't be shy, go in and give it a go and ask questions. Everyone started somewhere.

  • What do you like best about PDH? 

    The coaches, the structure, members, and of course the 5pm VIBE and workout debrief !

    PDH has changed my life completely and I couldn't be more thankful to Karina and everything that she and all the other coaches have done for me.

  • How has your improved health and self confidence impacted on other areas of your life outside of the gym?

    My confidence has gone through the roof in my life. I know I am so much more capable and believe in my body so much more because I know just how strong I am. I am more confidence in my body both with how I see myself and how I think about myself. 

    I don't know if I could ever put it into the right words to say just how thankful I am to Karina and the PDH Family to getting me to where I am today and pushing me everyday to keep going.

Stevie's before and after photos are nothing but amazing, but these don't even do her justice. Stevie's muscle tone and performance show much more progress during training sessions and its important to remind everyone that these improvements in her body composition and capabilities were achieved by nothing more than great training and nutrition to match. No fads, no gimmicks and nothing unsustainable. 

PDH SPORT

JUNIOR/TEENS SCHOOL HOLIDAY PRE-SEASON DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM

4 WEEK STRENGTH & CONDITIONING PROGRAM TO PREPARE YOUR CHILD FOR 2024 SPORTS SEASON

FOR ONLY $30 PER WEEK X 4 ($120 TOTAL FEES) 

Targeted towards Football (soccer, league, union, AFL or any other power, ball or contact sport).

MALES & FEMALES AGES 14-18

Commences January 2nd for 4 weeks during school holidays.
